Destruction

Destruction

“It’s about the X, it’s not about the building. It’s about what the X represents. . . . that they was going to tear the building down, that it was up for destruction and that’s sort of what’s going on in our neighborhood.  We are . . . destroying our neighborhood ’cause don’t nobody come in and destroy our neighborhood, we destroy our neighborhood.  I mean we got a couple of added hands to help, but for the most part, we need to come together and rebuild our neighborhood.  These buildings – a lot of buildings been here way before . . . and now they just . . . trash now.  So I just named this ‘Destruction’ just to describe what’s going on in our neighborhood today.”
