“So this is a police horse that they use to put up when there’s been some type of – you know, police activity in your neighborhood, they’ll block the street off. Usually something tragic has taken place when they put up this barrier. . . . A lot of people in our neighborhood are intimidated by the police department, you know? Because a lot of things happen in our neighborhoods where police aren’t always doing what they’re supposed to do. But then again, you know, you can persevere – you can persevere beyond this. You don’t have to let the stuff that goes – the criminal activity in the neighborhood-discourage you, or you don’t have to follow the crowd. You can decide that – to go across this barrier.”
