“I thank God for Hope House”

Hope House was established in 1995 as a ministry of Lawndale Christian Community Church by Pastor Joseph Atkins and Pastor Stanley Ratliff. It is a 9-month residential program for adult men who are striving to re-enter society after prison or those desiring to get off drugs and/or alcohol. Hope House Ministry strives to disciple these men as productive citizens and Kingdom Men. Through this ministry, the men are provided with foundational Biblical teachings, job readiness skills (such as interviewing techniques), and encouragement through a faith oriented 12-step support program.
The Hope House program also strives to educate our community concerning the problems and issues surrounding substance abuse and incarceration.
