“I got shot on this corner. . . . This is where I almost lost my life – right there, on that spot. Yeah, so I was there and a guy came shooting from up 19th – I ran, he hit me in this area, and I hit the ground, right there. I took this picture because after everything that I had tried to do, no matter how many girls, how much money, all the stuff, I thought this was the day that changed my life – my kids, that changed my life, but this was the day that I wished I had stopped at some point. But I didn’t, it took me to get to this point, this was my lowest – I was paralyzed on this corner right here, this was the last place I ever walked before I got shot. Last time I ever ran, ten years ago.”
